Law No. 2518-VIII On Invalidating Law of Ukraine On State Regulation of Sugar Production and Sale of Sugar came into force, UNN reports quoting the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
According to the Verkhovna Rada, the law enters into force today, September 20. The law wording says that the state regulation of sugar production and sale has been in force since 1999. Now this norm is abolished.
The law was adopted on September 4; until October 4, the Cabinet of Ministers has to bring its regulations into line with this law, as well as to ensure that their ministries and other central executive bodies review their regulatory and legal acts in accordance with this Law.
It should be reminded that on September 4, 2018 the Verkhovna Rada abolished state regulation of the sugar industry. 263 people's deputies voted for the respective bill.
